We really do get to meet some truly amazing people doing what we do at IAPTV.A few weeks ago, while on the way to a meeting downtown, with one of the iaptvgirls, Dj Skeeter and myself were driving on Peachtree street in Atlanta. When stopped at a red light, we saw an Imagine Music Festival promotional vehicle with very pretty girl driving. Luckily for us, both of our windows were down, so we asked her a few questions about Imagine Music Festival. She motioned for us to pull over at a gas station, and that’s when we met Brittney Alexandra Colson. She was very helpful. She told us about the success of the event year last, and how awesome the whole production is going to be this year. I know there are a hundred thousand fans demanding that this year’s Imagine Music Festival be even bigger. With the most loved djs and artists, Imagine promises to make the whole layout of the event even more colorful, creative, and cutting edge to give the fans exactly what they’ve been waiting for all year. Since neither TomorrowWorld nor Counter Point are happening this year, all of our IAPTV fans are insanely excited about this amazing music festival happening in Atlanta. Brittney Alexandra, while telling us how she and the rest of the production team have been working day and night on this extraordinary upcoming event, she subtly mentioned that an art installation of hers would be featured at the festival. After weeks of bugging her, she finally showed me a few of the pieces from the installation, and I was blown away. It was really clear to me that she was new to having any public attention focused on her or her art work. She’s not a fake hype artists, and that is why I respect her. This is because she has been constantly working on private commissions, obtained through word of mouth, for the past three years. Like so many artists and designers we work with, she went to SCAD and her work speaks for itself! You’ll get to see her work at Atlanta Motor Speedway, in Atlanta, Georgia, August 26th-28th, 2016 at Imagine Music Festival. – Imagine Music Festival, a 3-day camping electronic dance music festival held in Atlanta, Georgia, has held concertgoers in suspense as they wait to find out when their favorite artists are performing. The wait is over as organizers today release the daily schedule and set times along with single day tickets to the event this August 26, 27 and 28, 2016.
Dancing water fountains and captivating 3D images brought to you by AQUA will float next to the headliners, as they play out their set on the main “Oceania” stage. Friday night kicks off with a heavy back-to-back set by Caspa X Rusko before Snails, Steve Angello, and Borgeous. Saturday sees Showtek into Adventure Club, Dillon Francis and Zeds Dead. The live “Amazonia” stage hosts an incredible run on Saturday with G Jones into Minnesota, Papadosio, EOTO, Lotus, and an extended set by the Disco Biscuits. Closing out the weekend on Sunday, Oceania hosts a grand finale of talent with Benny Benassi, 3Lau, Borgore, Nero, and Excision. Furthermore, the organizers promise some very special surprises throughout those sets. Other noteworthy performances include Pendulum (DJ Set & Verse) at the Aeria stage on Saturday at 11:00 PM,; DJ Hanzel on the Disco Inferno stage Saturday at 9:55 PM; Leah Culver at 2:45PM at Oceania on Sunday; and Gramatik on the Amazonia stage at 2:00AM on Sunday. The installation Brittney Alexandra Colson is working on now, for Imagine Music Festival, is one she is quite passionate about. It is a plastic pollution awareness piece. “Plastic is plaguing our oceans and poisoning marine life”, she says. She simply stated that she wanted to do her part as both an artist as well as an occupant of this planet. Brittney Alexandra believes this installation to be particularly appropriate for Imagine, given that the theme is aquatic. She also mentioned to be a huge inspiration is Live Thrive Atlanta. Brittney Alexandra was adamant about us praising their executive director, Peggy Whitlow-Radcliffe, who has been integral to the completion of this installation. Live Thrive’s mission is to empower people, organizations, communities and businesses to make positive, healthy and sustainable changes to the environment, something we should all value. Brittney Alexandra also made sure I include that this installation could not have been made possible without the tireless help of friend and colleague Barrie Maurey, a fellow artist in the field. No second will go by without a sensational beat, circus act, or activity in the all-encompassing, 360-degree sensory experience that blends music, circus troupes, performers, dancers, art, workshops, classes and more. The full workshop and Yoga class schedule is now available. Cirque USA will once again provide world-class cirque acts that include aerial artists, bungee performers, living statues, atmosphere artists and more. On the more interactive side, will be the Imagination Art Space exhibiting works inspired and created at the festival. Building off of its immersive aquatic fairytale with an abundance of performers and live acts, Imagine will also include unique atmospheres such as The Imagine Beach & Splash Pool and Ocean View VIP Deck. The Ocean View VIP Deck offers premium bottle service and the best view of the Main Stage. Finally, what festival would not be complete without amusement rides? The ultimate playground, the carnival rides at Imagine will include a ferris wheel that promises a view of Imagine that should not be missed. In addition to a world-class 3D water hologram show, the AQUA partnership introduces Pocket Change where each donation helps give children clean water in third world countries.
